BlackBerry Touch

Most recently, the network information appeared that the Canadian telecommunications company Research In Motion (abbreviated - RIM) is preparing to offer the market a new smartphone. The device should become successor to the BlackBerry Storm model 2. It is expected that the new product name to get BlackBerry Touch. The new phone belongs to a class of smartphones for corporate and business use. BlackBerry Touch will work under the operating system, BlackBerry OS 6.1.

The device, known under the code names of Monaco (version for mobile operator Verizon Wireless) and Monza (model with network support GSM), is equipped with 3.7 inch touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. BlackBerry Touch smartphone is based on CPU clock frequency 1,2 GHz. Among its other specifications is worth to note these 768-megabyte RAM and a 5-megapixel camera that allows capturing video with 1280 × 720 pixels.

According to information from reliable sources, BlackBerry Touch smartphone will be announced at the official event BlackBerry World, which is scheduled for May this year. Unfortunately, currently no information on the retail price and exact date of commencement of sales of smartphones BlackBerry Touch.
