NATO will take over the operation in Libya

Within days, NATO will take over military command of the intervention in Libya. For these are agreed in countries organiatsiyata said an unnamed European diplomatic source quoted by AFP.

According to him, the alliance has decided to trigger the process that will ensure the transfer of command on Monday or Tuesday (28 or 29 March).

NATO will be taken exclusively with matters of military planning, command and coordination of actions. The political management of the operations will be conducted by a specially designed contact group of countries of the coalition, which may come as representatives of Arab countries.

The meeting will participate and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

According to ITAR-TASS participants in the coalition reached a compromise with NATO countries, who prefer to refrain from direct military action in Libya.
