Why Google Bard is Not Available in Bulgaria (Yet)

Google Bard is an innovative AI experiment that allows users to chat with a generative AI and get creative, informative and personalized responses. Bard was launched in March 2023 and has been gradually rolled out to over 180 countries and territories, including India, Japan and Korea. However, one country that is still missing from the list is Bulgaria. Why is that?

What is Google Bard?

Bard is powered by a large language model (LLM), specifically a lightweight and optimized version of LaMDA, Google’s breakthrough conversational AI technology. Bard can understand natural language and generate coherent and relevant responses based on the user’s input. Users can ask Bard anything, from tips to achieve their goals, to explanations of complex topics, to outlines of blog posts or stories. Bard can also help users with coding, math and reasoning skills.

Bard is designed to be a complementary experience to Google Search, allowing users to explore their curiosity and creativity in a more interactive way. Users can also easily access Google Search from Bard to check its responses or find more sources of information. Bard also integrates with other Google apps and services, such as Lens, Docs, Drive, Gmail, Maps and more.

Why is Google Bard not available in Bulgaria?

Google has not officially announced the reason why Bard is not available in Bulgaria yet. However, there are some possible factors that could explain this:

Language support: Bard currently supports only three languages: English, Japanese and Korean. Google plans to add 40 more languages soon, but it is not clear if Bulgarian will be one of them. Language support is crucial for Bard to provide accurate and helpful responses to users from different regions and cultures.

Legal and ethical issues: Bard is an experimental product that is still learning and improving. As such, it may sometimes produce inaccurate, misleading or biased responses that could violate local laws or norms. Google has to ensure that Bard complies with the regulations and expectations of each country where it operates. This may require additional testing and verification before launching Bard in new markets.

User demand and feedback: Google relies on user feedback to improve Bard and make it more useful and enjoyable. Google may prioritize launching Bard in countries where there is more user demand and interest for such a product. Google may also consider the feedback from users who have already tried Bard in other countries and use it to refine the product before expanding it further.

How can you try Google Bard?

If you are curious about Google Bard and want to try it out, you have a few options:

Wait for Google to launch Bard in Bulgaria: This may take some time, depending on the factors mentioned above. However, you can sign up for updates on the official website of Bard (https://bard.google.com/) and be notified when it becomes available in your country.

Use a VPN or proxy service: You can use a virtual private network (VPN) or a proxy service to access Bard from another country where it is available. However, this may affect the quality and speed of your connection, as well as raise some security and privacy concerns.

Travel to another country where Bard is available: If you have the opportunity to travel to another country where Bard is available, you can use your mobile device or laptop to access it from there. However, this may incur additional costs and risks associated with traveling during the pandemic.

Conclusion

Google Bard is an exciting AI experiment that offers users a new way to interact with generative AI and explore their creativity and curiosity. However, it is not yet available in Bulgaria due to various reasons that may include language support, legal and ethical issues, and user demand and feedback. If you want to try Google Bard, you can either wait for its official launch in your country, use a VPN or proxy service, or travel to another country where it is available.

Draisaitl's 4 goals not enough as Oilers lose to Golden Knights 6-4

The Edmonton Oilers and the Vegas Golden Knights faced off in a high-scoring game on May 3, 2023, at the T-Mobile Arena. The Oilers' star forward Leon Draisaitl scored four goals, but it was not enough to overcome the balanced attack of the Golden Knights, who won 6-4.

The game started with a flurry of goals in the first period, as the Golden Knights scored three times in the span of four minutes. Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty and Chandler Stephenson each found the back of the net for Vegas, while Draisaitl scored twice for Edmonton to make it 3-2 after 20 minutes.

The second period was scoreless, as both goaltenders made some key saves. Mike Smith stopped 12 shots for the Oilers, while Robin Lehner made 10 saves for the Golden Knights.

The third period was another offensive showcase, as Draisaitl completed his hat trick and added his fourth goal of the game to tie it at 4-4 with 10 minutes left. However, the Golden Knights responded with two quick goals from Alex Tuch and William Karlsson to seal the victory.

The Golden Knights improved their record to 48-24-10 and clinched the second seed in the Pacific Division. The Oilers fell to 44-28-10 and remained in third place in the division.

The two teams will meet again on May 6, 2023, at the Rogers Place in Edmonton for their final regular season game.

Met Gala 2023: A Tribute to Karl Lagerfeld

The Met Gala, also known as the Costume Institute Gala, is one of the most glamorous and influential events in the fashion world. Every year, celebrities, designers, and artists gather at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition that showcases the history and culture of fashion.

This year, the Met Gala will honor the late Karl Lagerfeld, who was one of the most prolific and iconic designers of all time. Lagerfeld, who passed away in 2019 at the age of 85, created collections for Balmain, Patou, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel, as well as his own eponymous label. He was known for his innovative and visionary style, as well as his controversial and outspoken personality.

The theme of the Met Gala 2023 is "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty", based on the new exhibition that explores the work and legacy of the German designer. The exhibition will feature about 150 original looks by Lagerfeld, along with his sketches and video interviews. According to Andrew Bolton, the chief curator of the Costume Institute, the exhibition will examine how Lagerfeld transformed his two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional garments.

The Met Gala 2023 will take place on Monday, May 1st. The red carpet will start at 6 p.m. EST and will be livestreamed by Vogue on its website and social media platforms. The hosts of the livestream will be actor and producer La La Anthony, writer and editor Derek Blasberg, comedian and actress Chloe Fineman, and internet personality Emma Chamberlain.

The guest list for the Met Gala is always a closely guarded secret, but some of the celebrities who are expected to attend include Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. The dress code for the event is "In honor of Karl", which means that guests will likely wear outfits inspired by Lagerfeld's creations or designed by him.

The Met Gala is not only a celebration of fashion, but also a fundraiser for the Costume Institute. The tickets for the event cost $50,000 per person or $300,000 per table. The money raised will support the museum's collection, exhibitions, and programs.

The Met Gala 2023 promises to be a spectacular and memorable night that will pay tribute to one of the greatest fashion legends of all time.
