Trip.com Group partners with Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways to boost tourism

Fiji is a popular destination for travelers who want to enjoy its natural beauty, culture and hospitality. However, the Covid-19 pandemic has severely affected the tourism industry in Fiji, as well as in other Pacific island countries. To help revive tourism and promote Fiji as a safe and attractive destination, Trip.com Group, Tourism Fiji and Fiji Airways have signed a three-year partnership agreement.


The agreement will see the three parties collaborate on strategic campaigns that will increase the exposure of Fiji in the Greater China market, as well as other key markets such as Australia, New Zealand and Japan. The campaigns will highlight the diverse attractions and experiences that Fiji offers, such as its pristine beaches, coral reefs, wildlife, adventure activities and cultural heritage.


Trip.com Group is one of the leading online travel agencies in the world, with over 400 million users and more than 1.4 million hotels in its network. The group has been actively supporting the recovery of the global travel industry amid the pandemic, by launching initiatives such as the Travel On campaign, the LIVE for Trip livestreaming platform and the Star Hub influencer program.


Tourism Fiji is the national tourism organization of Fiji, responsible for marketing and promoting Fiji as a destination to the world. The organization works closely with the government, industry stakeholders and international partners to showcase Fiji's unique brand of happiness and hospitality.


Fiji Airways is the national airline of Fiji, operating domestic and international flights to 21 destinations in 13 countries. The airline has implemented a Travel Ready program to ensure the health and safety of its passengers and staff during the Covid-19 crisis. The program includes enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures, mandatory face masks, social distancing measures and contactless check-in options.
